We hosted our work party there last Saturday night and what an amazing time we all had! Carlos was GREAT, he was so easy to work with to coordinate the day, amount of people, the time etc.... he had everything ready for us when we arrived and once we did arrive, he greeted us and made sure everything was set up exactly as we had asked for, couldn't have been any happier. The service was excellent throughout the night, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun and exciting! Great place, GREAT staff and great atmosphere!!! Looking forward to planning another get together there in the future!!!
Called Jake told him 16 people for Saturday. Even though they were very busy he still made it happen. Food was great & our waitress Tara was amazing handled it like a pro. Place was busy and great vibes
Wow, not sure where to begin. Love that you can make reservations ahead of time online and I highly recommend that you do. Great place for large parties. We had absolute amazing service for our large party. My granddaughter wanted spinach as a veggie and it actually is not a side dish. However, they accommodated her request without issue. This place is so amazing and delicious! We had anywhere from salad to pizza. The pizza was stone fired and we decided to make our own. It was out of this world and we left craving more as it really hit the taste buds. The oysters were local from Westport and succulent. It was served w a frozen mignonette, which I thought was weird. Taste was good but just not my preference. Chicken and biscuit dish was a large portion and perfect. Seafood platter, perfect. Clam chowder, thick, creamy, and very tasty. Full bar. Great cocktails. Quahog served on a bed of seaweed, which was very aesthetically pleasing. We will definitely come back for more next trip in the area.
Atmosphere was great while still being laid back, seating was comfy, service was friendly and most important the food was excellent. Trash can nachos were delicious (we could have just eaten those and been happy)..we also ordered the fisherman platter, black and bleu smash burger and bourbon steak tips. I think we found our new favorite. The outdoor open air "garage" looked like a great spot, we will have to sit out there next time
We'd been extra curious about this place because every time we drive by the streets are lined with cars! With two decent-sized parking lots, we couldn't help but wonder what the fuss was about. Thankfully, we got to experience it firsthand when Tara, our amazing bartender, served us. We ordered a ton of food to try everything on the menu (sorry, no pizza for us, but we enjoyed watching the orders go by!). The food was absolutely delicious, and my martini was top-notch. Can't wait to come back and try more!
I cannot recommend Soco Tavern enough. Soco Tavern hosted my family and friends for a bereavement lunch last week. It was all around exceptional service. Specifically, the manager Hilary was incredible. She was so kind and went above and beyond for us in every possible way. I’ve never had service like her. It was such a difficult day and she made it easier for us, which I am so grateful for. The words in this review cannot adequately express how grateful I am. Hilary handled everything for us and it all went perfectly. On top of all of this, the food and drinks were great! I recommend stopping in for a casual meal, as well as planning an event at Soco Tavern. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a an amazing date night experience, the service was warm and inviting. The ambiance was very cozy and the music choice added to the food. I recommend the fish and chips and don’t forget to squeeze the grilled lemon. Everything is made in house!
I finally understand why this place is always so packed! The food was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back. Decent prices. Staff was happy, helpful, and kind. Brussels sprouts are wonderful! Pictured is a classic smash burger with sweet potato waffle fries.
Got the Wednesday takeout special, which was buy one pizza get the second 1/2 off. The pizza was delicious. Chewy crust, great flavor. Highly recommend. Other Weekday Specials: MONDAYS enjoy half-off pizza (in person only). TUESDAYS are Buck-a-Shuck with $1 oysters (in person only). WEDNESDAYS buy one pizza, get the second pizza half off (takeout only). All specials run open to close.
I’ve come to SoCo tavern several times now. On this particular visit, I ordered the bacon smash burger and a specialty watermelon cocktail. Both were excellent! The atmosphere here is always pleasant. It’s a local watering hole, but don’t let that intimidate you. It’s an inviting space that’s welcoming to couples and families alike, as well as a solo diner such as myself. There is outdoor seating under a covered deck and there are plenty of TVs throughout playing all the major sporting events. The standard menu is expansive, and they also serve rotating seasonal specials and offer weekly deals. Along with burgers. I typically see folks ordering seafood, pizza (always smells really good, yet to try), and chicken wings. It is close to downtown Fairhaven/New Bedford! (Make sure you check out the Whaling Museum after too!) If you’re looking for fresh, satisfying meals in a comfortable and welcoming environment, this is your place! 10/10 recommend!
